This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Splendeo (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use Splendeo (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Splendeo is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected] with any privacy questions or requests.

2. What data we collect

Account data: name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account.

Payment data: we do not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores payment information directly under its own privacy policy.

Uploaded content: images and any associated metadata (such as property descriptions or room labels) that you upload for processing.

Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service, collected automatically through standard analytics tooling.

Communications: any messages you send us via support channels or email.

3. How we use uploaded images

Uploaded images are processed by our Service and by third-party AI model providers in order to generate the Outputs you request (such as virtual staging, photo enhancement, or renovation renders).

Model training: at this time, we have not finalized whether uploaded images may be used, in an aggregated or de-identified form, to improve or train our AI models. If and when we make this determination, we will update this section to clearly state our practice and obtain your consent before using your content for this purpose. You will be able to manage your preference from your account settings.

We do not sell your uploaded images or personal data to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to maintain, secure, and improve the Service), consent (where required, such as for any future use of images in model training), and legal obligation (such as records related to payments).

5. Who we share data with

We share data with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary to operate the Service: cloud hosting and storage providers, who store uploaded images and account data on our behalf; AI model providers, who process uploaded images to generate Outputs; Stripe, for payment processing; analytics providers, for understanding aggregate usage of the Service; and authorities where required by law.

6. International data transfers

Because we use third-party providers that may process data outside your country of residence, such transfers are made using appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded images and generated Outputs are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service to you, or until you delete them or close your account, after which they are deleted within a reasonable period. We may retain limited data longer where required for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Your rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. 9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, essential functionality, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as by email).
